"Please choose this lifesaving and life-changing non-profit."

Giving Tuesday? What’s that? Giving Tuesday follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but instead of buying, it focuses on GIVING. The Giving Tuesday campaign, created in 2012, was designed to challenge people to show compassion and come together on social media for the good of their communities. This year Giving Tuesday is December 1.

2020 has been a hard year for everyone and though the disAbility Resource Center office has been closed to the general public due to COVID since March, our staff have dedicated over 1200 hours of services to individuals with disabilities and their loved ones in the past 11 months. We have assisted people with disabilities and their families using telecommunications to help them with their questions and their goals towards independent living.

Here’s what other dRC consumers have to say:

“Luckily, we found your amazing service which is a lifesaver to us who are struggling. Thank you.”

“The equipment will enable me to participate in communal activities such as voting and getting exercise with the ability to sit and rest as needed.”

“The dRC has helped me learn tools to live as independently as I can. It has taught me how to be better at organization, money management, communicating and stress management. I have made a lot of friends at the dRC. The dRC is awesome!”

Giving Tuesday is an international day of charitable giving, and with your support and kindness this holiday season, we can continue to proudly serve our local community. Your donation will make a positive and significant difference to support the work of the dRC and the people with disabilities that we serve. Thank you.
